Europallet basket construction – Europallet extension / Gitterbox
We are pleased to present to you a euro pallet garbage can, also known as a pallet extension, euro pallet extension or Gitterbox. Special attention should be paid to the possibility of creating stacked Gitterboxes due to their important feature of overlapping baskets, which allows optimal use of vertical storage space. On the other hand, thanks to the door, which opens from the side, you can easily access its interior.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that, being a manufacturer of wire products and, more broadly, a manufacturer of metal products, we leave it up to you to choose the diameter of the wires from which the pallet extension is to be manufactured, as well as the size, or the size of the door.
As a manufacturer of store furniture, and more broadly as a manufacturer of other metal products, we are able to offer you a full pallet extension or modify the size and number of doors, as well as use wires of other diameters.
The pallet basket can be used both as a place to store, display, as well as transport goods.
Production process of pallet extension
The production of a pallet basket, like any other basket, cannot take place without straightening the wire, cutting the wire into sections of the required lengths, and then bending the wire, which is done in our production facility using CNC bending machines.
The next step is to weld the wires together, for which we use automatic (multi-point template welding), semi-automatic and manual welding machines, and then the wire mesh thus created is finished by cutting off the protruding ends of the wires.
Unlike most wire baskets, the indispensable part of the Gitterbox is the tin handles mounted on its corners. This is because the sheet metal handles allow the basket to be placed on the pallet, while the handles in the upper corners of the pallet extension allow the baskets to be overlapped. The production of the handles themselves involves laser cutting the sheet metal to obtain elements of the desired dimensions, bending the sheet metal to obtain the desired shape, and then welding the thus created handle to the corners of the Gitterbox.
The production cycle of the pallet extension is completed by applying the correct coating, according to the choice made by the customer. We offer powder coating of our products from the RAL palette. There is also the possibility of using zinc or chrome.
