Construction of bolted hopper on wheels
We present to you a hopper, the legs and base frame of which are made of 30×30 mm profiles, while the rest of the structure is made of wire with a diameter of 5 mm. The materials used significantly increase the carrying capacity of the basket and ensure that heavy articles can be stored or moved in it.
As with any of our products, we would like to emphasize that the final decision on the exact dimensions of the materials used and the hopper itself is up to you. As a manufacturer of shopping carts, we are able to adapt to your needs.
To assemble this basket, all you need to do is screw its sides to the profile legs with allen screws, three screws for each leg.
Another advantage of the hopper is that it is equipped with wheels, so you can easily transport smaller but heavy products, such as in a store or warehouse.
Manufacturing process of wheeled bolted hopper
The production of the presented hopper differs to the production of most of the shopping baskets we offer. This is due to the construction of the base frame and basket legs from profiles. First, the profiles are cut to the appropriate lengths and perforated using a laser cutter. The next step is to connect the profiles to each other by welding.
The rest of the production coincides with the standard process of making shopping carts, i.e. straightening and cutting the wires into appropriate sections, then welding them together to form wire mesh and cutting off the protruding ends.
The last stage consists of applying the coating according to the customer’s decision (powder coating, galvanizing or chrome) and installing wheels and plugs.
